Babcock University Departmental Cut Off Mark
The Babcock University does not really have a specific cut off marks for courses. However, candidates who have scored a minimum of 170 in JAMB UTME examination are eligible to apply for admission into any courses of their choice.
Due to the high number of students wishing to study at the BU, the admission processes are competitive and an admission is given based on JAMB score and O level grades.

Babcock University Post UTME Cut Off Mark
JAMB fixed the cut off marks for Babcock University at 170. Candidates who have higher scores are first given preferential consideration in admission basics.

HOW TO APPLY
GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION:
The minimum qualification for the First Degree Programs include:
- 5 credits at the SSCE/GCE O’Level/NECO/NABTEB Examinations or their equivalent (at not more than 2 sittings).
- The subjects passed must include English Language and Mathematics;
- One sitting only for Medicine & Surgery.
- Candidates below 16 years of age are advised not to apply.
- Candidates awaiting the release of their WAEC/NECO SSCE results will be requested to show evidence of Acceptable Qualification before matriculation.
DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Those candidates who DIRECTLY APPLY to Babcock University will be OBLIGATED to sit for this year’s JAMB UTME Examination (for 100 Level) or apply through JAMB Direct Entry admissions (for 200 Level).
Candidates who wish to apply for Transfer Admissions need to present:

Requirements: 5 credits in English Language, Economics, Mathematics and any other two relevant subjects.
Direct Entry:
Holders of OND/HND/ACA/ACCA/ICMA/ATS passed with Upper credit, in addition to 5 credits in the subjects stipulated at O’Level are eligible to apply for Direct Entry
NOTE: A pass in Economics may be considered provided the candidate has a credit in Accounting or Commerce.
One Year Professional Training: All BSc Accounting students may after completion enroll for one year into the professional class to sit for ACA/ACCA/CITN/CIMA Certification Examinations. Such students should have been processed for exemptions under MOU with various professional bodies after their BSc Certification at the end of the fourth year.
Internship: All ACCA registered students will be attached to some designated companies for practical experience during long holidays from 100 Level to 400 Level as part of the MOU with ACCA. In a situation where we have insufficient places for our students, students will be given letter to companies of their choice for attachment.

Requirements: Candidates seeking admission into the school of nursing science Program for bachelor of nursing sciences degree must satisfy the minimum university requirements for admission to the degree Program which includes:
- an acceptable pass at the university Identity and Document Verification.
- They must in addition to the above, have minimum of credit (C) level passes at the senior secondary school certificate examination (SSCE) or its equivalent in five subjects, at not more than two sittings, which must include English language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
- Registered Nurses (RN) with credit level passes in the SSCE subject as listed above may be admitted by Direct Entry into 200 level provided they satisfy other University admission requirements.
Prospective candidates intending to apply to Babcock University should sit for the UTME examination of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and obtain the prescribed department cut-off mark.
